I was mining some shows and decided to take a sorta break from my thread, to offer up some quintessential PATTI = this version of "BIRDLAND":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birdland off of +Teenage Perversity and Ships in the Night+, recorded at the Roxy Theatre (LA), 1/30/76."I tried to pick songs that my band did back then. The Hunter Gets Captured by the Game [Marvelettes] was the first song we ever did there. Pale Blue Eyes [Velvet Underground] -- we did that too. And I wanted to build up to the last piece of the first set, which was Birdland.
