Sorry, Mark D, i'll have to disagree w/ you on several points. I've never been much of a fan of either "When I was A Boy" or "Spring Street;" yet, on this album, it was like I truly "heard" them for the first time. Perhaps the freshest and closest return to the eponymous album debut is peculiar because it's a collection of covers. The authenticity isn't mired in too much self-reflection and melancholy. Leventhal steers a clear, unadulterated course once again for his artist. Well done.
