I missed you mog - roadtrip

Just got home from a roadtrip down to NC to go house hunting. Some fellow moggers turned me onto some music that became the soundtrack for the trip. So – shout outs (heh, now that sounds retarded doesn’t it, oh well) to Moof for Sufjan Stevens and to Max for Man Man. I got partial albums of both Illinoise by Sufjan Stevens and The Man in a Blue Turban With a Face by Man Man. (Bonus points for the fact that my husband actually liked Man Man.)I rounded it out with World/Inferno Friendship Society and Regina Spektor.Normally I like my music to be frantic and quirky. None of the above artists are frantic, but they are all quirky. House hunting can be very stressful but the playfulness of this music kept me enjoying the process – to the point that I actually got scolded for wanting to drive around and listen to music and not actually accomplish anything we set out to do. Ah, what are you going to do?
