kill you, f you...I will never be you

Posted almost 5 years ago
I was doing Heath’s little game, and one of the questions asked for my favorite lyric from one of the songs of the list…and it was so hard to choose once I saw what song it was.See, in my time on mog, I’ve seen people embrace all types of emotions – but anger isn’t usually one of them. I, on the other hand, find my greatest release in music when it’s angry. Almost every single day when I leave work, I get in my car, kick off my shoes, light a cigarette, and pick a vicious song as a big F you to my job. I peal out of the parking lot with my rage pouring through the speakers. The song that came up in that game was one of my regular go-tos. The beat is cathartic and I can’t pick a favorite lyric – so here’s the whole song for you. Embrace your inner beast. Grr….;)Im in conniptions for the final act you came here forThe one derivative you manage is the one I abhorI need a minute to elaborate for everyone theEveryday bullshit things that you have doneYour impossible ego fuck is like aMegalomaniacal tab on my tongueYou fuckin touch me I will rip you apartIll reach in and take a bite out of thatShit you call a heart...I dont mind being ogled, ridiculedMade to feel minisculeIf you consider the source, its kinda pitifulThe only thing you really know about me is......thats all youll ever knowI know why you blame me (yourself)I know why you plague me (yourself)Im turning it around like a knife in the shellI wanna understand why, but Im hurting myselfI havent seen a lotta reasons to stop itI cant just drop itIm just a bastard, but at least I admit itAt least I admit itI know why you blame me (yourself)I know why you plague me (yourself)Kill you - fuck you - I will never be youKill you - fuck you - I will never be youI cant fuckin take it anymoreA snap of the synapseAnd now its fuckin warKill you - fuck you - I will never be you(Couldn't put in the mp3, so here's a live performance instead)

  9. chulsmith says cool. i haven't ever seen footage of them live. i've always wondered what nine guys in a band would do. i thought... 3 guitars 2 drums 1 bass 1 singer from what i can tell from this video, the other two just dance around. but i know of another band with a cheerleader (ie. avail). i'm privy to their first album, the one that got recalled that includes frail limb nursery and purity. and i love angry music, too. it IS the best for the commute home - even on the 'i slacked at work all day' days...
