Day 4 of Countdown to AZ

Two more days until Authority Zero.The bad news is that I checked out the other bands playing and they suck. I get the feeling the place is going to be overrun with kids. The good news is AZ isn't the headliner so my old ass won't be out all night.(Oh, any moggers that see this that speak Spanish - there are some Spanish lyrics here. Can you tell me what they are saying?)

    chucky says Tokyo Rose and Patent Pending open. The second is a local band if I remember correctly and they are ok. The main headliner is Zebrahead. It is strange isn't it? But, in the end, I like sleep, I like my own house, I like my pajamas, and I like cheap beer. The kids can keep the nights in public.

    chucky says rawkkiddo - you've heard of patent pending? Maybe it was Tokyo Rose that was the local band then. I had an Alkaline Trio album awhile back. I liked it, but after awhile I got tired of it. Blair, exactly. Plus, I drink when I'm out because well I like beer and plus I'm not really good in settings like that and beer helps. So, by the time the band comes on I'm plastered and then I have a hangover. I don't like hangovers and I don't bounce back the way I used to.

    Sweetbro says So, I can only pick up two words in the spanish part (they sing a bit too fast for me) and I hear "estamos" which means "we are" and "mucho" which, not shocking, means much. Maybe if my connection picks up and stops half skipping through the video I can get more. And it is nice when you can go home early. :) I feel you on that.

    Rawkkiddoh says Patent Pending is Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio, and Josiah Steinbrick. Their album is great, and worth checking out. My guess is they will come on right before or right after Authority Zero. So, you should go a little early or stay a little late, and find you spot to watch.

Once again pretty rough translation since it's been a few years since I used spanish.
