My first (and only) wedding anniversary was an unmitigated disaster, which ended up with my husband inexplicably slagging me off in front of a group of people we'd met and as a result this incredibly charming and handsome guy gave me his number (which I didn't call, but threatened to, jokingly). When my husband and I left I yelled, 'What the f*ck did you say that for?' and he didn't know. He's a weird one. Despite splitting up, we're still friends, bickering, as ever. Lovely man, terrible husband.

Yesterday marked 40 years of my husband's life! He spent it rooting on the Mariners to anti-victory, I spent it working. Uggg.
We've been married almost 8 years and have been a couple since 1990 (and best friends since 1983). Man I feel old.
