Just laid down my $ this morning at Peet's Coffee for the latest Live from the Archives CD, compiled by San Francisco radio station KFOG. I am most delighted by this live version of Angelique Kidjo singing Salala (featured below)Album also has great live tracks from folks like Rodrigo y Gabriela, Ozomatli, Ben Harper, John Doe (is that his REAL name?) and of course...Michael Franti & Spearhead, my latest musical obsession.Angelique is playing Zellerbach in March 2008, by the way. I would upload the whole KFOG album here, but really...it's a fundraiser for Bay Area Food Banks and so, really...you should purchase this classic CD before it sells out at www.kfog.com or go to Peet's Coffee in Bay Area and check it out. Will not disappoint.
