i take it all back

Posted 8 months ago

Well it worked for a few days ...free trial..then the fact that i'm not in the USA kicks in (global world wide web technology denial) and i'm exiled OUT of MOG player again...Who give s damn?

Who needs ANY of these streaming services?

If you are into MUSIC you BUY the product anyway...and all this Facebook/Spotify "i'm listening to" sync-up crap..who gives a shit if you've got nothing to SAY about to back up your choices..THAT seemed to be the whole point of MOG Not just a "consumer" service ..Enthusiasm for music ,not just "this is what i'm listening to" 9 times out of 10 , the Facebook share will be the most mainstream of choices.

What am i moaning about..i will love it ALL AGAIN when it all syncs up,or i subcribe or whatever!

Just saw a news story this morning that MOG still has't announced any plans to launch in Europe. That makes it 1-1/2 years and counting since I saw Hyman at Midem and he discussed starting in the UK. I believe the comparatively high streaming rates  have something to do with it.

Personally, I like streaming. It's just another way of hearing too much music - which has always been my "problem"! But going back to David's converation, he said the huge majority of MOG Radio listeners just pressed play and did absoliutely no customising. So those Facebook shares are probably sensible business choices. *sigh*
