I always thought that this was probably a tough album for John to follow up. Because this is almost a greatest hits album in his first offering. With songs like "Hello In There", "Illegal Smile", "Sam Stone" and the others, John just nailed it. Great stuff!

John Prine is a national treasure. That first album is staggering. But he has consistantly turned out fine songs for 30 odd yrs now
