but he did manage to fuck up a Zombies song with his stomach churning "interpretation" of Time of the Season a few weeks back during their pathetic excuse for "British Invasion" week. Vile, wot?
on tuesday night, i can't even remember what song he massacred from the Gibb catalog, but my annoyance was obviously written all over my face.
why?
because Mr. Chickhabit turns to me and says "In my mind, I just watched you reach into the tv and pull him out by the throat, and punch him in the face. It was awesome."
i can only hope one day technology will advance far enough to where armchair hecklers can get this sort of immediate satisfaction.
that said, his is no michael winslow.

What can one do? All of us here at work complain but then none of us voted either. Why on Earth the majority of the songs chosen from the Brothers Gibb catalog were the late seventies songs seemed like a bad choice considering that even the worst singer in the world could have fared well covering any of their other 500 songs that are much more melodic.
Did you notice that actually some of the contestants sounded better just singing with a piano in front of Barry?
