If you dig Captain Beefheart and low key folk music obsessed with death, than this is your guy. I just discovered him this morning and it is blowing me away. A great way to get through a hangover. Also reminds me of Leon Redbone in some parts. Not much more i can say besides check it the fuck out.

He is not canadian he lives on like a farm house in Iowa so you know he has some badassed folk cred. I believe all of his records are released on a label called Southern Records.
