have you herd of okkervil river? the guitarist of shearwater(all the way to the left) is the lead singer for them and if you like shearwater you will most def like/love them... i highly reccomend seeing them live if you get the chance...

i've never heard okkervil river, i'm gonna try to listen, thanx on this tour, in shearwater they were only 4...i saw them in paris
i came to see john vanderslice (great man !) it was the 1st time that i saw him with his all band, i saw jv many times playing only with his great drummer dave douglas : they're so sweet and great but well i don't think i could ever say something bad about them lol
it was "strange" the show was in a small venue (normally about 200-300 people) and it was a shame, there were very very few people, so people stayed sat down during almost all the shows, it was very strange and quiet but in the same time it was like a private show...
i think (but i'm not sure) it was the 1st time shearwater were playing in france and damn it was good !! they play good music and they're very nice.
