Songs I Dig: "The Lonesome River" - Ralph Stanley with Bob Dylan

    The Lonesome River
It's always good to hear Dylan step out from behind his own material and explore the songs of others. Here he teams up with Ralph Stanley on "The Lonesome River." Dylan and Stanley singing together can only be described as haunting - two voices reaching through time from the beginning of creation.

  1. yrralmallik says (;BLUEGRASS RULES;) Dylan found a new calling. His vocals sounds perfect on here.Man I sure hope Dylan does more with Ralph Stanley. But Ralph is getting up there.Still touring though or he was last year.I do a lead on one that Ralph did called I'm Going That Way.I'm sure I've heard this version before and never realized it was his singing.Love it.Your Mog Bro.~(;Yrral Mallik;)
