  2. KebStarr says Turntables are so ignored by people. They're amazing. DJs are awesome! I found a new respect for them when I saw Mr. Dibbs do his thing.

  5. ch33v3rs says Go to a friends house that gets down and ask them to teach you... DJ's always want to share and teaching is one of the best ways to get better. Don't let money get in the way. BE ABOUT IT OR BE WITH OUT IT! respect > KIARAN

  6. ciaran says Great stuff - been a fan of the DJs for a long time. It's also worth mentioning that even those DJs whose skills aren't on a level with the Q-Berts & Z-Trips of this world have a skill that isn't properly appreciated - sensing a mood and building on it. Norman Jay can't mix for toffee but I've never seen a DJ work a crowd like he does at Notting Hill Carnival.... PS - If you like good hip-hop, check out Ohmega Watts - like Gang Starr for the new millenium; great breks, jazzy samples, and gangsta free rhymes.
