lyrics to <3

  • ...you park me in your Buick, you sing songs into my lips...
  • ...and I wish for one more day to give my love and repay debts, but the morning finds our bodies washed up thirty miles west...
  • ...I set all my pets free so baby you should sleep with me...
  • ...she once fell through the street, down a manhole in that bad way, the underground drip was just like her scuba days...
  • ...and in the choir I saw a sad messiah, he was bored and tired of my laments, said I died for you one time but never again...

I saw Kate Nash in May at the Showbox and like the title says, she played everything at warp speed! It was a good show, though considering how charismatic her songs are, in person she seemed very demure and... not so charismatic. Though I think I remember her saying this was her very first show in the U.S. and granted at one point during a new song she did scream, "You don't have to suck dick...
