Is This the Height of Arrogance??

Artist:
It's either the height of sheer arrogance, or maybe just tenacity on my part. Or maybe I'm really doing you all a favor.
Some background. A while back I posted a song by the Prog Rock group, Frost. In my post I believe I made the carnal MOG error of announcing that it was a 26 minute song. It must have been something along those lines because there were no (zero) comments, and no (zero) plays.
Having read a few of Groon's posts since then, I've learned that there really are people out there who don't like long songs. Me, I enjoy the hills, valleys, corners, and speed racing associated with such pieces. And I try and listen to each instrument and then marvel at the complicated machinations required to produce sounds that nearly literally 'blow my mind.'
Not for everyone I now understand.
But so you don't miss out on what I believe is an amazing piece of music, I've created a 5 minute (I wasn't too sure how long to make it when I was considering this post) portion of the song Milliontown. It's the last 5 minutes, so if you like it and would like to know how they got to the climax I present here, you can go here for the rest of it.
I call it MOGMilliontown.
And with this, I'll shut up about Frost.

LOL!!! yup, ya had me at 26 minutes!! It's not the musics' fault, I think I have ADHD ... can't focus on a song for more than a few minutes. After that, and my mind will go somewhere else.
That song would be awesome to a fireworks display :)
Hmmm . . . usually, I'm not one to shy away from a 26 minute piece of music. Or even a 45-minute piece of music a la Magma. I wonder how I missed that other post? hmmm . . . can't lisen to this right now, but I'll get to it!
nice one. I think that those of us who grew up on music that was this long wqs normal. now it seems we have gone back to the predessor of these times or so much music that only short amounts of time will suffice.
I have always enjoyed the longer songs, I have always seemed to perfer them over the single cuts that get the radio airplay.
"I can't listen to this right now" is frequently the response when presented with a long piece (or three or four songs in a post).
I listened to some of this (even though only 5 minutes long). Long enough to say "Yup. It's prog." Then..outta here.
