I've not yet explored this site, so can't vouch for or warn you about it. But the concept is way cool. Combine it with the instructions from the editorial in the second link, and we could have a whole new era in music listening quality. I'm gonna give it a try since I have a DVD player that will play DVD Audio's.

Thanks for this link, I signed up and took a listen. I think I would use this site more if I still had a proper stereo. As much as I've enhanced my computer towards audio playback it's still not giving me the same output that I would get from stereo equipment. I think in this day and age the average user is using their computer and/or iPod/mp3 player for their listening pleasure making this a site for the true audiophile. It sounded great, you can definitely hear a ton of nuances but even my Bose speaker and subwoofer system won't do it enough justice to warant the expenditure on my credit card.
Sweetness, Regular DVDscan do 24bit 96kz too, 48khz is standard and even that's a major improvement over CD. I listen to Porcupine Tree albums on DVD on my computer ;) The DVD-A's might be 192khz, which I've only tried with files on my computer. I think most comps can handle 24bit and whatever. Neil Young's Chrome Dreams has 24bit 96khz on the DVD and I did that for my new album too :) Thanks for the heads up cap!
Oh yea, DVD-A's don't work on the computer, but there might be special program to do it. I haveheard 192khz from my own recordings and it's really good. I'm really liking 96 too, that be sweet if that was standard!
GLad you both liked this.
Publican - yeah, there's been a few posts about the trend away from true audiophile sound, which is sad. I'll be keeping my system for many years still, and do enjoy an evening away from the computer now and then.
Frank - DVD-A's rock, although they don't represent true sound IMO. Still , a good experience.
Let me know if you try this and how it turns out.
