Ok, you want something a bit different, but great? Here's Sylvan, a Progressive Rock band from Germany who has been so unknown outside their own country, that finding information about them is a challenge.

They've produced several studio albums, but remain a publicist's nightmare, since they just haven't been able to grap the attention they so badly deserve. Their CD, Posthumous Silence is a concept piece that tells a story with, well, not so happy an ending. But the music, the artistry, the technical genius will blow you away.

This cut is from their CD "X-Rayed" and is one of my favorites. To tell you the truth, I'm just now starting to really appreciate what these guys can do.

They're playnig Los Angeles Oct 11 and Seattle on October 14. Hopefully those shows will help the boys out.
