All right. This is a post that's sure to get a bajillion comments. Or none.
Amazing Grace is a timeless hymn that has been "covered" by countless artists from Willy Nelson to Judy Collins to Elvis Presley, as well as many gospel singers. It was written by John Newton back in the 1700's after a spiritual conversion that saw him tackle full on, the horrors of the slave trade.
It's a beautiful melody with a timeless message.
But I don't think I've ever heard it quite like this. Beautiful.
I urge you to stick with it to the end for the surprise climax.

I really do not get the embedding disabled thing.
Let's make a vid then don't let anyone share it. That way an estimated 70% of potential viewers won't get to see the fruits of our labor, and 15% of those who would have been interested enough to further explore our music won't have to waste their time. Then, the 6.25% of those who would have liked us enough to purchase our merch and cd's won't have to waste their money on us. No, let them spend those funds elsewhere. We don't want their money .
Well, that makes a lot of sense now doesn't it?
Nice analysis. Did you like the vid?
One word applies: Bravo!!!
(Something to sooth the souls of the damned and take the edge off a number of demonic mixes.)
What a great looking venue for the video. Next you'll need to feature the Celtic Women. lol It seems to me that no matter the performer this song always sounds amazing.
sorry cap - I didn't watch
