Introducing Able Seaman Sikke, from the Capndad family. He's been lurking below deck for a while now, and hasn't posted here in a while.
But that all changed the other day here
I've known Sikke for 28 years and some few days now. He's always served as an able bodied Able Seaman on the Capn's ship, although there were times unknown to him that I know such things, that our boat was rocking just a wee bit more than we liked . Must've been the grog. Or the times when his lifeboat nearly sank. Dang Germans don't know how to make a lifeboat anyway.
But as you can see from his comments in the linked post, a gauntlet has been laid, asking for s comment on some of his finer musical choices. So I've chosen 2 of the 4 he challenged me with upon which to comment. Here's the first:
Now contrary to what you might think, I actually don't mind this tune at all. A little electro combined with some disco lights, and just enough of an edge to call it left of disco. I'm in.
Then this:
This is my favorite of the two. Less of the thumping beat and teetering on the edge of Prog.
In each case they get a thumbs up from me as I look to the horizon from the deck of my faithful ship and with my crew by my side, and see even greater challenges ahead.

That's because you're closer to Sean's age than me:-) This whole experiment is interesting.
I'd have to vote for the second one.
