She was born in Russia and learned to play piano at a very early age. Her parents emigrated to North America where she currently lives in New York city.
One of those rare finds that will have you captured no matter what your favorite genre.

The top video reminds me of a page from the picture book The Mysteries of Harris Burdick by Chris Van Allsburg, the guy who also wrote The Polar Express and Jumanjie. This book is all strange pictures, though, no story:
