Here's a wonderful cover tune from Marillion that has the sonic as well as the thought provoking elements to make it great. Sorry about all the applause at the end.

Steve Rothery is an excellent guitarist.

Where did you find this? Thought I knew most of their stuff.

Well, I can only give what I've been able to find so far. First of all the tune itself was just sitting on my drive so I posted it. Not sure where I picked it up or when. Probably a download.

Apparently this came from the "Shot in the Dark" concert that occurred at The Zodiac club, now called the Carling, in Oxford, England. The reviews I've seen of the place indicate that it is well loved and has entertained patrons with many a well known musician or band, including Marillion.

The concert happened there in 1999, and was released on a DVD and CD package in 2002. Take a look at the contents! Man this is a must get!!!
