Looking to the Future Where the Groove Has Gone

Posted almost 3 years ago

Wandering through my vinyl collection again and found this. It's been years, but I remember them fondly as the band you put on at parties for a few laughs. Combined with a bit of imbibement, you've got a great party.

These guys are as diverse as the hundreds of songs they're produced. Each one explores a different part of the musical landscape.

They have a very loyal cult following, and, as I just discovered, are still making records. Every album is different, and every album defies genre categorization. Believe it or not, they were once thought to be a rock band.

They're still a lot of fun. Here's two of their songs from the 1975 album "Indiscreet," and a rather indescribable, brilliant, and humorous video of their song, "The Rhythm Thief."
