WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

It's a livin' - Gone fishin'

Posted 10 months ago

Well, now that we're all getting cozy, have revealed much of ourselves, have learned how to put up with each other, I have to ask, "who are you really?"

I think the answer is "I am who you're getting to know here on MOG."

But every day I am someone else. Every day I don today's equivalent of a suit and tie and head of to corporate la la land to tell other people what to do. When computers crash, I rally the techies and make sure they do their job just right to avoid missing our service level targets for the day/week/month/year. I attend meetings and actually am interested. I contribute ideas at the paper shuffling level to help us catch more bad guys. (hint, hint)

And every day at 5 o'clock I put the phones back on, and by the time I'm home am wearing my Clark Kent outfit again. Or maybe it's the Superman outfit I'm wearing by that time. Yeah, it's the Superman one. My secret identity.

That's the parallel universe me. The two often don't jive, but I can dance to either tune.

Anyone else?

I think everyone has a bunch of personalities.

After 26+ years together, my sweetie is still a jealous fool ... and some of my bestest friends are still guys.  Therefore, at work I'm the "guy (and girl) hugging fool" ... but go out on the weekend and run into the daytime guys and I have to become the "church lady" and sit quietly.

I like my daytime personality better!!  :D
