  1. MrFrost says "The compilations produced by DJ Drama and his protégés are known as mixtapes, though they appear on CDs, not cassettes. Mixtapes have become a vital part of the hip-hop world. They are often the only way for listeners to keep up with a genre that moves too quickly to be captured on albums. On a mixtape you can hear unreleased remixes, sneak previews from coming CDs, casual freestyle rhymes, never-to-be-released goofs." translation......... the fans will lose in the end.

  2. iodapril says guuuuuh, this deal ticks me off to no friggen end. not only in the way it was reported but a laundry list of other annoyances inherently wrong with how it was handled all around. i'm glad to see someone getting this out there on the MOG community.

  3. camillionz415 says for example, if you saw the Fox News Report on the matter, they brought a SWAT team in there with mad guns, and made them lay face down on the ground, citing that "such busts often reveal drugs and guns in the mix" (with the mixtapes). yea, not so much with Drama and Cannon. They did those 2 wrong...
