last night was amazing. what. an. amazing. voice. singing like that after recovering from a giggle is a talent, as my friend witchy would say. i didn't write down the setlist, but she played these songs:fidelitybettersamsonon the radiofield belowapres moihotel songthat timesummer in the cityuh-mericamusic boxbaby jesuspoor little rich boy (amazing!)the flowershuman of the yearusbobbin' for applesprisonersghost of corporate futurecover of john lennon's "real love"two or three more, but i can't remember! if you know and you were there, please do let me know ;)only son opened for regina, solo but with the help of his "robot friend" mr. ipod. he joined her on stage and provided the beat box for "hotel song" in the encore. haven't ever seen a musician before use their voice the way she does. haven't heard sounds like that come out of anyone before. truly an amazing vocal instrumentalist, only enhanced by her beautiful skills at the piano. always feel as though i see the world a little differently every time after i see her play.
