Eric Clapton in Hartford

Posted about 1 year ago
Eric Clapton at the Civic Center in Hartford, CT on April 12, 1990.This is the first time I saw Clapton live and I really dug this show. Clapton was out in support of the Journeyman record which had a bunch of radio hits and really kick-started him into the 90s...I sort of lost my interest in Clapton as the 90s progressed but man, what a career. Having major (and numerous) hits in 4 or 5 decades is no small feat...The line-up for this tour, in addition to Clapton, was:Phil Palmer - GuitarNathan East - BassSteve Ferrone - DrumsGreg Phillinganes - KeyboardsAlan Clark - KeyboardsRay Cooper - PercussionKatie Kissoon - Backing VocalsTessa Niles - Backing VocalsThe setlist:Disc OnePretendingNo AlibisRunning On FaithI Shot the Sheriff > White RoomCan't Find My Way HomeBad LoveBefore You Accuse MeAfter MidnightDisc TwoOld LoveTearing Us ApartWonderful TonightBand Intros >CocaineLayla CrossroadsAnd the source for the recording is: MAC: Nak > Sony D5 > Cassette > SoundForge > CD > MP3Highlights? Running on Faith and Tearing Us Apart. Enjoy and let me know what you think...
