These song lyrics above kind of remind me of some of the poor coaching decisions made by Joe Gibbs, Sean Payton, and Brian Billick in NFL Week 13, tearing their team’s playoff chances apart. With that being said, which teams playoff hopes will be torn apart this week? We’ll see! And now to my picks for NFL Week 14. (Again, I must caution you that I also conduct by NFL blog similar to an Eliminator pool, meaning, I can’t pick the same team twice as Lead pipe LOCKS during the regular season. Therefore, the majority of my Lead pipe LOCKS from now on may be teams with losing records).
I Will Not pick Carolina over JACKSONVILLE at JACKSONVILLE even though the Panthers play better on the road. I’m also taking the Jaguars to cover the spread in this one, whatever it is. I also absolutely Will Not pick Baltimore over INDY, although the Ravens did play the Patriots tough last Monday night. However, I am picking the BRONCOS over the Chiefs 23 - 17 as my Bonus-LOCK instead. And my Double Bonus - Lock this week is GREEN BAY over Oakland 26 - 13.
In my 50 - 50 games I’ll take CINCY at home over St. Louis in a shoot out 34 – 26, also covering the spread as the favorite, and NEW ENGLAND over Pittsburgh 27 - 23. My Bonus 50 – 50 is TENNESSEE over SAN DIEGO 23 - 20. And my Fake – Out for NFL Week 14 is the 49ERS over the Vikings 20-19. What?
And now since this next teams playoff chances will not be ‘Torn Apart’ this week. My stone cold LOCK for NFL Week 14 is the: BUFFALO BILLS over the Miami Dolphins 27 – 13 (covering the Spread as the -6.5 point favorite)

Well bubb, you're so correct. Horrible, stupid decisions made all over the NFL last week. Needless to say I'm sure glad the Raven's coordinator made one of them. LOL (Whew). So Now the steelers come to town. I'm glad you have confidence in the Patriots. Its gonna be 60 minutes of slobberknocker football. A real dogfight! The Bills over the Dolphins is no gimme. I like the pick, but I hope the Bills ain't thinkin' 'cakewalk'. Let me tell you, no one will be walking on cake in that one. For Scottfree's sake I'd like to see the Bengels win, they can do it, but lord what a frustrating team. So much talent and no discipline to bring it together. And the officiating! Don't get me goin'! But I'm sittin' here warm and snuggly, its gently snowin' outside, Reee's asset portfolio is looking fine, all is right in the world. Thanks, bubb. The only thing is......Clapton? I agree with you about that Bills game. Yes I just took a chance on that one. Miami does have to win a game eventually, don't they?. But then again, I believe they actually could go 0 and 16, now. Since I thought they'd win last week at home against the Jets.
As far as the music, Dylan and Clapton were mainly selected for the song Lyrics theme I wanted to have for the Blog these past 2 weeks. Some of their songs I actually do like. Not all of them. I'll have my Best cd's of 2007 Blog next week.
And speaking of Todd, he was influenced by Clapton's guitar playing and he actually did a Cover of a Dylan song on his 'Faithful' cd, 'Most Likely You Go Your Way I Go Mine'.
