Instead of the obvious will not pick against teams, the Patriots, Colts & Steelers. I Will Not pick Arizona over Cincy at Cincy, as much as I’d like to. I usually Never pick the Cardinals on the road or pick against the Bengals at Home. I’m also taking the Bengals with the points, no matter what the spread is. I also absolutely Will Not pick the 49ers over the Rams right now, especially with Trent Dilfer at quarterback. However, I am picking GREEN BAY over Carolina 30 - 13 as my Bonus-Lock instead, also covering the point spread as the Home Favorite. In my 50 -50 games I’ll take the SEAHAWKS at home over Chicago in a tight one 20 – 17 and Minnesota over Oakland 23 - 20. My Bonus 50 – 50 is TAMPA BAY over Atlanta 20 -16. My Fake – Out for NFL Week 11 is the BRONCOS over the Titans 20-19. Also I Would Not be surprised if the BROWNS finally beat the Ravens in Baltimore for a change. And now since this Sunday will be the ‘DAY OF THE EAGLE’, my Stone Cold Lead Pipe Lock for NFL Week 11 is the:PHILADELPHIA EAGLES over the Miami Dolphins 30 – 16 PS. BUB ’S STATS FOR THE WEEK NFL Week 10 Straight up: 8 – 6 REGULAR SEASON LEADPIPE LOCKS: 8 – 3 BONUS LOCKS: 6 – 3 Fake – Outs: 7 – 5 Fifty – Fifties: 11 – 12 Will Nots: 17 – 2 Spreads 9 – 11 Overall Regular-Season Record Straight up: 93 – 51

  2. deadmandeadman says Well, here I am A day Late and and a dollar short. I believe the Patriots will beat the Bills, but not the spread. Bears/Seahawks? Thats gonna be a sloppy dogfight. >Hey bubb, you have long contemplated doing a roundball post as well. I've been reborn as the Celtics have finally built a competent team around Pierce. Rondo as point guard for THIS team was a stroke of genius. I know handicappin' the NBA is a lot more involved due to the number of games played, and you may not have the time, but I also know you have mentioned it in the past. >Back to football though, how come I didn't hear anyone (in the media) complaining about Green Bay "runnin' up the score" on the Vikes? All we heard around here was how wicked, evil, bad, and nasty our Pats were for running up the score on the Skins. But let Favre do it and no one raises a peep. Somehow the Patriots have become the twenty-first century Raiders/Darth Vader. That's fine with me, it keeps the lockerroom buzzin' I'll bet and keeps Brady & Co very well motivated. >I'm feelin' a certain amount of pity for the Colts, Injuries have really piled up there. But my concern is selfish, I wanted them at full strength the next time we meet. Now their Yellow Brick Road to the Playoffs doesn't seem so assured. Well, that's enough ramblin'. As always bubb, you're entertaining and perceptive post is a delightful read and the tunage first rate.

  3. bubb says Hi Marigold, Thanks for the Kudos. I still say Green Bay & Dallas in the NFC Championship game. Just like the old days. Dmdm, Great idea about the NBA post. I'll definitely have to come through & do one this time. The NBA's cheeleaders are Hot as well. And the Celtics also have cheerleaders now, i believe. I still cannot see the Pats losing a game this season. Steelers are the only team with a chance in the Regular season. But I don't think that will happen either? Eagles cheerleaders say Hello!
