RATM is Back...But Back For Good?

Posted over 5 years ago
As we've known for some time, Rage Against The Machine is getting back together for California's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The reunion will be on April 29th and I would LOVE to be there but it's right before finals and I'm a little low on money. But that's neither here nor there. The other big news that was just announced is that Chris Cornell has left Audioslave to pursue his solo career. His second solo album will be released soon (produced by the great Steve Lillywhite) and he is actually going to cover Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean." Yea, I kno...crazy. Anyway, in his statement, he explains his decision:"Due to irresolvable personality conflicts as well as musical differences, I am permanently leaving the band Audioslave. I wish the other three members nothing but the best in all of their future endeavors"Anyway, there are no official plans for Rage after this reunion show...but one, atleast myself, cannot help wonder if they band might get back together. It seems like things are falling right into place for a permanent reunion and sweet sassy molassy wouldn't that be sweet!?

  1. annnna says All the good concerts I want to go to are around the time of Coachella, they are right before exams and APs and SATs and ugh. It's annoying. I heard the Smashing Pumpkins would be returning to tour, I think RATM might be seeing how Coachella is going before they decide but I wouldn't be surprised if they did do some sort of a reunion tour.
