Hot Chip and Snoop, Who's More "Sensual"?

Posted about 1 year ago

Stumbled upon this one today, Hot Chip covering Snoop's "Sensual Seduction." (video does work)

Well, what do you say? Who's more likely to sensually seduce you? Hot Chip or Snoop?

(Or none of the above)

I agree with @MrFrost. This kinda is like a bizarre mashup of someone drunk and a terrible headache!

I love Snoop's version, played it about 5,000 times when it first came out. Brave as fcuk to change up his style like that.

So are you interested in the country stuff he's doing now? I want to hear the Johnny Cash remix album.

B, I thought you were yanking my chain, but a quick search reveals that this is indeed a go project. Hmm, looks like he's going after that Good Ole' Boy demographic that has been eluding him up to now. I'm certainly interested, although I think I'll wait for your review first. :)

Yes, it's no joke. I guess it's actually an album of various rappers paying tribute to Johnny Cash. Snoop is covering "I walk the line." should be worthy of an album review, country and rap are like step-brothers.

aww you really can't go wrong with snoop dogg... but Hot Chip is rather on the amazing side of the musical spectrum. Oddly enough, they sound higher than snoop dogg (in a brilliant way) in their cover!!! Pretty rad, if you ask me.

And that Johnny Cash tribute album sounds like a hit!

    P.S. thanks for the welcoming!

I am a snoopaholic.I never actually bought any of his albums bc, actually I don't know why, I was afraid itd be too gangsta rap but what I've heard I actually love. He's got one of those voices too. And the weird thing is I'm a big fan of lyrics and usually his topics are not something I'm interested in at all. His new thing, My Medicine, really hate what he's singing about but somehow LOVE the song.

So anyway my vote is definetly for Snoop. I don't know much about Hot Chip but theres just n topping snoop. Furthermore I checked youtube for the johnny cash remix of snoops you spoke of but couldn't find it but I did find a remix of Sugartime remixed by Kennedy. I don't yet know who that is but the remix is a lot of fun.
