So in case y'all haven't noticed Converse is running an ad on our good old MOG for a contest aimed at musicians. "Get Out of the Garage" is a contest that's incredibly easy to enter. All you gotta do is submit one of your best songs, either online (http://www.getoutofthegaragemusiccontest.com/) or at a Journey's shoe store, now through Sept 15.
I notice a ton of bands on MOG promoting themselves, so I know there's talent residing in MOG-land, and it sure ain't me. So get to it!! Can't you picture yourself being flown to NYC for studio time with a producer who'll hook you up with a hit single? Aww, I can see it now!
A few missing Converse are always found in the remains of a good mosh pit, incited below by Black Flag.
