It's feeling a bit spookier than normal today. In honor of that here's a round up of five videos to make you think twice before walking under that ladder.
Stevie Wonder "Superstition" Live on Sesame Street, 1973
Black Sabbath "N.I.B." Live, 1970
Off of Black Sabbath's self-titled debut album which was released on Friday the 13th in February of 1970 in the UK. Geezer Butler says, "the song was about the devil falling in love and totally changing, becoming a good person."
The Flaming Lips "Convinced of the Hex"
"I believe in nothing and you're convinced of the hex!"
Jamie T "Hocus Pocus"
"Hocus pocus three men jokers, barristers beast policemen thieves, three queens and broken dreams, a bottle full of trouble and a gambling fiend."
Cream "Born Under a Bad Sign" Live at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Ha! I didn't even know it was the thirteenth till you said somthing. and to think Ive been working with power tools all day!
YIKES! were you climbing ladders and stepping on the cracks in the sidewalk too? :) i'm running with scissors...testing out superstitions.
Strangely enough I was! of course ladders are only dangerous if someone is working above you while your under them. I should go break a mirror and open an umbrella inside! woo hoo!
lol, nothing beats the thrill of living on the edge!
true dat! Except maybe the thrill of falling over the edge!
Yeah, why wasn't this Friday the 13th more "mad"vertised? It seemed to have flown under the radar.
Love that "Born under a bad sign". I think I can relate.
