John Frusciante Could've Been in The Bee Gees

Posted almost 4 years ago
Seriously. Can someone wrangle John Frusciante and throw him in a white jumpsuit, a la the Gibb brothers? His cover of this song inspired me to buy the Bee Gees greatest hits on used vinyl. Are any of you familiar with some of the classic oldies he's covered? Fierce. Fierce.

  3. Scribes4life says i got nothin involving either of these entities, but... You know Toto, right? You know Phonte from Little Brother, right? Well maybe you don't know that he and Zo! did a handful of 80's remakes... not rapping so much, but... Just listen. ~9GimSiTOUac.mp3~ by the way, i love your pictionary game. I'm never around when it first gets posted, so i like to guess, and then look at the answers (classic crossword puzzle book cheater style) props!

  5. Hermes says Huh. The first video didn't run here (and neither on Youtube), so I can't really say something 'bout that. But that BeeGees song was one of the most played songs on commercial radio stations - I didn't even know, that it's from the BeeGees and never wanted to know - , when I still listened to them for the lack of free radio stations. I won't get much more mainstream than this, why I won't listen to it as a matter of principle ;).

  8. Jules09 says Haha, i love me some Froosh. My love for this man is officially cemented. When I saw the chili peppers last year, he created an intro for "Right On Time" that started off with London Calling. I flipped out when I heard it, as a huge Clash and RHCP fan.
