Beck Adds Interviews to his site; Part I: Tom Waits Irrelevantly Speaking
-
Artist:
-
Album:

It looks like Beck's newly-formed Record Club wasn't enough to keep him busy. His official site is now boasting an interview section called Irrelevant Topics which aims to feature "conversations between musicians, artists, writers, etc. on various subjects, without promotional pretext or editorial direction."
First up, Beck gets irrelevantly conversating with Mr. Tom Waits about L.A., "Best Of" lists and much more. Check out Part I of the conversation HERE: Irrelevant Topics
Below, enjoy the recently filmed/recorded "Femme Fatale" (Velvet Underground) video from Beck.

Hi Brittany....Thanks for this delightful post.
cool. I'm keep an eye on this whole situation
I guess Beck has run out of ideas & is resorting to doing a way overcovered song(R.E.M did a version of it back in the '80s). It's understandable though, since he's really outdone himself with his various albums. I'll give him a break, although his version of 'Femme Fatale' is not interesting unfortunately.
He reminds me of the famous Budweiser pitchman, Greg Hoyt!
I have to say, this isn't helping my crush on Beck at all...
Love what Beck is doing. Genius way to get to interview Waits. Love the cover as well. You don't see many covering VU nowadays...
EXCELLENT find Brittany...thanks!
i'm excited to see who else he'll be interviewing down the road. definitely worth keeping tabs on.
I'll check out the interview, that should be fascinating I'm sure.
