RIP. Grew up on his music, and blasting the HIStory album right now. Can't remember the last time I played it (or when it was played for me while still in the crib) but still know all the songs.
At least he can rest in peace away from all the troubles that brewed around him recently.
Yeah I played some for my 3.5 YO girl. She kept wondering why it wasn't a sad song. Death is a hard one to explain, sound recordings are another tough concept.
Michael was one of the greatest! He did alot of goods things to warm up a cold world! His songs always had a message of Love and Compassion and he seemed to care for his fans and gave back.
I can't believe some of the negative comments I've seen around the net. One person basically said that he couldn't believe all the people upset by this since Michael was a pedophile. First, he was never convicted, secondly, like the first comment says... no matter what you think of Michael, you can't deny that he was and always will be the King of Pop!
It's incredibly sad to me that so many negative things happened towards the end of his life.
I love his music and I feel sorry for the people that are being negative.
I lived in Santa Barbara and know people who knew Michael and they said he was definitely not a pedophile! I know his nephew and he is a great person also! When you become famous and have money or people think you do you become a target for many scams!
Watching Michael Jackson do the moonwalk for the first time is still till this day one of the coolest things I have ever witnessed! MJ will always live on in our hearts.

No matter what he was accused of and how unusual he may have been, he was a phenomal artist. A true music legend has passed.
I LOVE MICHAEL JACKSON. my kids and i play michael with dance parties in our house almost every single night.
sad.
Sad day indeed. He was a legend, surprisingly, he was 50 years old. Seems younger. I'm curious as to the cause.

I always loved his music, too....he will be sorely missed. 50 is very young to die like that.
Very sad. He was an incredible pop culture icon that changed the face of contemporary music.
Too young, just tragic. So tragically odd but my god what an artist.
RIP
it's just now beginning to hit me. i'm pumping the MJ all night...
