Gettin' (Irish Jig)gy With It

Posted 8 months ago

Now honestly, I am under the weather with a hacking cough and a hot toddy served by a stranger's grandma would serve me well today. Or...just hand over the scotch, Granny!

For me, nothing says St. Patrick's Day like the Dropkick Murphys (Quincy, Mass). This St. Patrick's Day I will be thinking of Red Sox games and how thankful I am that I don't live anywhere near Fenway Park anymore (overpopulated, cold) and far, far from Southie (colder, whiter).

Get betta! Happy St. Pat's to ya.  I wouldn't recommend alcohol when you're sick though.

    Happy St. Patrick's day, lady!

Uncle A, alcohol helps (no, really!), especially if you have a throat problem. CHEERS!

you know it can go either way with whiskey, i hear. strong enough to knock the cold out of you, but when it backfires you're left sick and hungover. i'm feeling better today. maybe green beer is in my future!

rallly girrrrl. a couple shots and the sniffle and watery eyes will go away. ;) although if you are keeping it green go with the nyquil.

Dude where did that avatar pic come from? I Have actually seen that painting in person somwhere in my travels. Just can't remember where. Montana seems to spring to mind tho.

ha i just changed it again...but that was a big felt 'painting' that my friends had hanging in their band practice space over in massachusetts. i actually was at a friend's house out here in berkeley, and they had a smaller version of the same thing! it's quite breathtaking in person, innit?

    Ahh

it must be a franchise thing.

The one i saw was massive, about the size of a twin bed sheet and it was either in a hotel lobby, or a truck stop, somwhere in montana. Where of course it's not ment as sarcastic at all. Which makes it even funnier for jaded hipsters like us. Hit that hookah!

whoa. i think i would only stay in Montana if I could have the ginormous version of that in my hotel room for the duration of my stay. lol. that is amazing. i was just thinking i am getting more and more jaded by the minute.

Possibly but it's not a bad thing really. I personally don't ever want to stay in Montana ever again not even if my bed was surrounded by kitchy peices of americana. Oh wait it usually is. Montana it's self is enough to make me break out in fits of unabashed sarcazim. too bad i work there so often. When making fun of rednecks gets boreing it's time for a trip to Seattle so you can make fun of hipsters! So what , you ask, am I? I'm just a guy who makes fun of people and I'm sure that all over the place out there people are making fun of me. If i get two more levels of sarcazim I'll be a sarcazim black belt and able to start my career as a stand up comic. Just have to kill those lingering feelings of remorse and pity. Jade on you crazy jade fuguriene. (what an obscure refrence mixing pink floyd with diablo 2)

haha we have a lot in common i think! i didnt get the diablo 2 reference there, but caught the floyd.

Well the diablo 2 refrence deals with a jade figuriene you have to find at the beginning of the third level. It's not only a nerdly computer game refrence but it's also an old out dated computergame refrence.

anyway in other news we are stageing an intervention for our good friend an fellow mogger Tyler Durden. It seems tyler is listening to pop and us metal heads feel that this is heresy and must be quelled before he posts some hanson bro's. So if you are so inclined send tyler some support as soon as i write this thing. it'll be the Tyler Durden Intervention post.
