Starsailor has always been a favorite of mine, though I feel they have never gotten the exposure they deserve. Sure people like their music but it always seems to get a 3.5 out of 5 stars and never a straight 5. Maybe they're not perfect in the credit's eye, but I think they are smashing.
I don't want to be a comparison monkey, but they are similar to Coldplay or maybe the Stereophonics.
I'd say it's what people would term as shoesgazing indie music.

Was always a fan of their song Good Souls. Alcoholic put me off buying their first album though. It's a shame.. My friends didn't like them much, but I remember buying their second album Silence is Easy and thinking it was alright. It got lost though in the haze of moving out of student digs.. Anyway I might revisit Silence is Easy..
Are you into JJ72? their second album 'I to Sky' is really good. They got slagged off by my friends and dismissed but they never heard the second album. Funny how that works!

That track is a keeper, bringmeup. If I'm not mistaken, they worked with the notorious Phil Spector as their producer for one project - and the results were not well-received. It wasn't as bad as a murder rap, but it showered no glory on either party.
