Hello,
It's been quite some time since I've been active here on mog, but I am ready to jump back in with both feet and share some new music with you guys. First of all, I would like to share with you a project I have been working on which is now public. No doubt, those who know me know my love for a certain Atlanta band I believe will change rock and roll and perhaps space and time too. They are Snowden, and I have begun a website which I plan to continuously evolve for as long as I am able. It is based strongly upon a model established by the creators of the fine Beck megasite whiskeyclone. Those who know need no explanation. If you haven't been check it out too (links to both sites below). My site is a study of all things snowden, and hencely is called Snowdenology. I am proud of what has been done so far, but a lot more is in the works.
So, on the new music front I have an offering from the upcoming "New Tales To Tell" (Love and Rockets Tribute) album. Snowden closes out the album with an epic remake of "No Words No More." I am deliberately calling this a remake, not merely a cover, as Jordan has built the music from scratch, thus the only semblance to the original are that the words remain the same. I was not a L&R fan before, but going back and listening I have an appreciation for the work and (suprise, suprise) I can honestly say I think the remake goes many levels beyond the original in terms of complexity and rockoutness. Please enjoy No Words No More (a little birdie has also told me that this song may be appearing on Snowden's sophomore album due out later this year - for more info see the "Good News" section of snowdenology).
Also, I plan on posting here more often (once again). Hope to see more comments too, looks like a lot has changed around here. :]
