I have read this all over the place, and even (ugh) checked the Oasis website for the confirmation. Oasis will play a handful of live shows with Ryan Adams in Canada. And they are coming to my hometown, Seattle for the first show (which is actually in the US, but we practice Canadian ethics and language here)!
I have to admit, I used to make fun of Oasis alot. I helped produce a show back in the 90's with them and Hole, and surprisingly, there was no fighting or any drama at all. Although Oasis did not allow anyone but their entourage near their dressing room wing, but their staff was pleasant as hell.
But after that mellow day, I decided to actually listen to What's the Story Morning Glory and found myself singing along just like the rest of the robots and loving every moment of it. So, I have to say, I will be at this show with bells on....and early enough to see the great Ryan Adams, who usually does not disappoint (although I am usually ready to go to bed half way through his set, so let's hope there is lasting energy to this performance).
This is kind of cool for Seattle too. We get passed over by some of these super tours and heck; we didn't have U2 for almost 20 years!

i had to blink twice when i saw this bill. i think its sorta an odd pairing. perhaps they have a lot in common like a love for the Grateful Dead (Adams is the biggest Dead fan). Oasis is a rockin' show though. their live gigs have the same effect as listening to their albums -- you just sing long
