MELT-PROOF AND SCRATCH-RESISTANT

Seaweed

I read that Face to Face was getting back together the other day and for some reason, it reminded me of Seaweed, one of my fav pop-punk band from the 90's. Were they not supposed to get back together and do a new album? Haven't really heard a thing since their shows last year.

I thought I would do a little toast to “Seattle's Superchunk” today and see if any of my youth returns…Gawd, no one could jump in unison like that band could…The energy during their live shows should have been bottled and sold on the mass market.Seaweed - Kid Candy - 1993
My fav song that Seaweed ever did was called “Stargirl”. I remember buying this 7” with a Napalm Death record when I was 16 or 17. I have no idea where those records ended up. For the life of me, I cannot get a copy of Stargirl at all. Argh, oh well Squint is cool too.IMHO, Seaweed was the most overlooked band of that era.
