I've been watching South Park recently, the repeats they show on the local independent station at eleven o' clock. I've also been using the term douche a lot recently. It didn't take a long time, but it certainly took longer than it should have for me to realize that there was a connection there. Seriously, I've called this one dude a douche like five thousand times in the last four days.
So, today, I'm walking through a parking lot, thinking about douche and its sudden and full integration into my lexicon when I realized that something awesome was going on somewhere nearby. It was one of those sixth sense things, just a feeling you(1) get that tells you(2) that you(3) had better figure out what is going on, like when you notice that all of the birds have suddenly stopped chirping.
I stopped in my tracks and devoted all of my sense to figuring out the source of this awesome. There was some sort of muffled sound... It was music, music coming from a white truck parked across the sidewalk from where I was standing... It sounded kind of like Devo... It was Devo! And it wasn't Whip It! It was Gates of Steel! Once again my sure instincts had proven themselves, something truly was awesome.

My Devo knowledge is minimal at best, so I'm not familiar with this. I like it a lot. Considering my recent love/obsession with Kraftwerk, I'm wondering if Devo is the next logical step for me to take.
when i start noticing that all of the birds have stopped chirping, it's my cue to cut down on sugar. i just digitized this album last week.
so i came here some other day and noticed that 50% of MOGs That Trust You were people pictures. the horror! it threw me off of commenting, but things seem back to normal. happy All Souls' Day!
Hmmm, douche. Once I almost got run over by the FDS delivery truck.
Funny you should mention Family Guy, as it is the competetion for my eleven o' clock viewership. I'd say that both shows have their moments, but I think South Park's high points are much loftier than Family Guy's. In any case, they both make me to miss Futurama.
