This DJ Shadow dude is a frickin' genius. I wish I could pick his brain. I know I'm jockin', the guy but fuck he's awesome. And I totally respect him even more for doing the OUTSIDER album because he broke away from his usual style and made an experimental classic with Bay Area Hyphy artists like Turf Talk and E-40. Much love for dude. I hope he lives a long, long time.

brittanybf says i havent heard that outsider album you mention. it takes a bit of thought for me to think of shadow making beats for hyphy rappers. i'd be interested to hear it. that's probably been out for a while, and here i am just finding out about it!
