My obsession - hellween special

Posted over 4 years ago
If someday someone has the bright idea of killing me – I can be a real pain in the neck, thus I won’t be alarmed if one day I discover the whole planet hates me – I only ask “Please, will ya do it with a ’58 Plymouth Fury?” ^Awww... aint her ass a beauty?^Oh baby, fell in love with _Christine_ since I first saw her. Not only because she’s based on a Stephen King’s novel, nor cuz she’s a machine embodying a spirit from the 50’s (whose radio only plays Rawk’nRoll). Damn, she’s a voluptuous red car, a hell of a (sexy) killing machine. They actually wrecked 17 of these babies...

  2. Dzendvokh says It's funny, I was thinking about this movie, and I remember when it came out, I was pretty young. And we had this pay-per view thing on cable where if you turned to the channel it would play the previews over and over again. Well the preview was playing for this, and one of the lines in it was "How can you kill something that's already dead?", and that got burned into my little childish brain, and so I went to bed that night, and that kept repeating in my head and I was scared shitless. I had to go to the bathroom, but really did not want to get down from my bed (I had a bunk bed up high), because I swore that I heard somebody saying that line. I finally got the courage to get down and ran to the bathroom with a blanket over my head.

  3. bloodtea says Ahahah.. I'm sure Christine was looking for some bad punks to accidentaly bump into, although it might have been cool to watch her chase you along the corridor and smash you against the bathroom door. Kids always think blankets will keep 'em safe from anything. Right... - I had my moments too, such as, covering myself to the ears cuz I thought Dracula would bite me if my neck was showing. *Chucky* made me grow up and look at dolls from a different point of view.. and ohh! there was this song from some toys commercial... my god.. how many times I pooped myself to death because of that.

  5. Augusts1 says I swear you are such a guy in female guise, lol! I literally thought you were until your last post when you finally revealed your true identity. I never saw this movie until w/in the last few years & found it so unscary. But the car is a real beaut that's for sure!

  10. bloodtea says *Danny*... great one, but think of the toothpaste I'd have to use on that thing! *Aug* Ouch... I swear I’m all female (at least on the outside) lol Well, it isn’t that scary... but if we were back in 83 you would probably say the contrary. Killer or not, the car’s the only thing that matters :) *Nick*, I’m starting to feel sorry for the kid you were. *Adam*, no doubt at all *Girlcrawl* thanks ;) *Joxley*: sweet holy mother of ignition circuits! That sure is one damn great gal... but is she demon possessed? Don’t think so pal :P

  15. bloodtea says Cool! I would surely like to see one of those, D. At least it wasn't converted to a banana-in-the-sky-mobile. Liz, I know that.. I posted a karmann ghia with "walking on sunshine" on one of Kevin's last posts, and I remember you said you like it (although your jetta something something something... don't remember the last part). Oh, I wouldn't mind having one of those either, but a not too green one.

  16. soulrocket says hahahahahahh that could easily be me & my pals 10 years ago when i still owned my vespa. i switched to roller blades since then. good one, andréa.

  17. Lizziegreeneyes says Check you out... mind like a steel trap andréa !!! Jetta - mine sucks - love her, but more trouble & expense than she's worth... gotta come into a large sum of money before I will ever by VW again... Awwww, the neon green was the best part about that automobile... though a nice shade of plum purple would also work wonders... maybe BLOOD RED ;P ::kackling wildly in my cubicle::
    Permalink posted 10/31/2007
  18. bloodtea says Rollerblades... how come? . Liz, now those are some colours that may work :) You're Jetta reminds me of mine - '89 BMW 316i - well my baby doesn't suck and she's not much of a trouble maker.. (and when she does I curse the whole damn planet) but driving that beast can be expensive - she drinks a lot and here it's about $7 a gallon.
    Permalink posted 10/31/2007
  19. Lizziegreeneyes says My ex had a late 80s ORANGE BMW - loved that thing to bits... $7 a gallon... I'd get a ride with my friends ;)
    Permalink posted 10/31/2007
  20. bloodtea says ORANGE?! my car with that colour would definitely rock, I would not dare to drive it though - she's white as snow (well, after a sponge bath she might be), not the colour I'd love to have on her... but that's ok. My friends' cars suck :P

  21. Lizziegreeneyes says I drove Deb all over the map before she got her Honda over two years ago - so it was her turn the past few years - now we kinda rotate... but if we know we'll see traffic we take her automatic - if it's smooth sailing - often it's my standard/stick shift gal ;)

  22. bloodtea says Eheh (they don't suck at all, I'm just a bastard that only rides on mine..)
    Permalink posted 10/31/2007
  23. soulrocket says can you think of a faster, healthier and cheaper way to move around the city? i also had an accident and somehow i decided not to drive anymore since then. do you still have those cars that looked like a rough small version of a ford with 3 wheels in portugal? i know the description is weird but i recall them, cant say which brand they were but they were awfuly great.
    Permalink posted 10/31/2007
  24. bloodtea says hey.. to move around the city I use my feet - once or twice a month I use the car around here. Not that I've seen them.. There are some brands with tree wheels like (at least these are all can think of at the moment): '55 ISO Isetta '57 Messerschmitt KR 200 '58 BMW Isetta 300 '56 MIL-VAL Milvalino '63 Trojan Heinkel '56 Velam Isetta

  25. soulrocket says i love roller blades, i can be in any place i want in minutes. i dont go as crazy as i went years ago but i still love to do a couple of hours a day routine. oh, yesss.. those are the ones. i havent seen those 3-wheeled cars anywhere else but in portugal. the first time i saw one, the guy in the car was waiting for the traffic lights to turn green... then like if it was a motorcycle he put the car on 1 wheel and left... i thought... genius. were any models with 2 wheels on the back and 1 wheel on the front?... i would swear the one i saw was like that..

  26. bloodtea says wow... yes there are... '75 Acoma Minicomtesse '72 Bond Bug 700ES '58 Brutsch Mopetta '64 Cony AA27 '51 Daihatsu Bee '73 Reliant Super Robin '06 Zap Zebra
    Permalink posted 10/31/2007
  27. soulrocket says they are so cute that i feel like driving again. i believe the one i saw was a black ‘51 Daihatsu Bee. the ‘58 Brutsch Mopetta is my favorite... actually, i like them all. these are 3 models built in spain, a new car and 2 old ones. i believe the old ones were really cheap and i think a very cheap prized van version was popular in the 70s, but it wasnt a fancy option. i think the new one is made for handicapped people, nobody here would think driving on 3 wheels would be a safe choice. those models you posted blew up my mind. you guys made state-of-the-cart of a car that was always considered crap here. portugal 10 points, spain 0.
