New music from a new duo, known as the Newtimers. The Newtimers is the result of a spontaneous collaboration between two song writers/producers (Andreas Cavaco and Tim Lundblad) whom decided to embark on a project after they grew tired of writing and producing music for others. As their first single together, “Falling” goes to show [...]

Jack Steadman from Bombay Bicycle Club is a genius. First for introducing me to Dog Is Dead, and second for the great remix of their latest single “Two Devils”, that he so meticulously crafted. “Two Devils” will be available for download March 4th, however there’s no word about the availability of the remix. Listen to [...]

Liviu Hodor is as Radio DJ from Romania, thats about as much as I could find online about this guy. Either way check out the track above, its has an amazing sound. The accordion melody really give this song a catchy beat. This song reminds me a lot of Edward Maya & Vika Jigulina's Stereo [...]

Here is the music video to Jonquil’s “It’s My Part”. I’m sad to say I was rather disappointed by it. The first half was rather repetitive however, once you reach the 2:30 mark it gets a bit better. Really that’s just my opinion, however I’m sure we can all still watch it just to listen [...]

It doesn’t get any better than this, and yes I’m talking about the fantastic animated album cover above. Once the novelty’s worn off, get ready to be amazed again. Cincinnati based Walk The Moon is pure Indie Rock bliss for lovers of the genre and I’m sure you’ll agree when you listen to their latest [...]

Just found this gem over at Gigantic Club. Like the author of the post says “it’s new to me, and that’s good enough”. First off, I’m not a fan of their music, but Neon Indian’s got a really unique vintage sound which, in the ever expanding sea of emerging indie bands, is good. However it [...]

New music video for The Whip’s single “Movement”, from the album Wired Together. Definitely a strange one, but amusing nonetheless. These guys are getting ready to kick off their UK Tour February 24th in Newcastle. Tickets have been available since last November, but it looks as if there are still plenty left in case you’re [...]

Oxford based band Jonquil is turning heads with their latest, “It’s My Part”, which is set to be the first track off of their upcoming album Point Of Go. The single drops February 27th, but don’t fret. The “Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs” remix of the song is up for download at this very moment. The [...]

Gotye’s “Somebody That I used To Know” hypnotized music fans everywhere when it first hit last year, and the inevitable remixes were everywhere. Much so, that they’re still rolling in. A quick Google search for 4FRNT turned up nothing more than a ski company, however his/her rendition of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know” [...]

Gentlemen Hall’s “All Our Love” finally has a great set of visuals to call its own, in a place where love seems to be a crime. Check it out and visit their website for more great music if you haven’t already. Their EP, When We All Disappear, is only a free download away and is [...]

Blue Scholars, one of Seattle’s best Hip Hop duo’s, are back with Cinemetropolis. Well, they were back, back in June of last year (2011). I definitely missed it then, but I’m glad to have stumbled upon it recently. Blue Scholars have definitely come a ways since I last took the time to listen, and Cinemetropolis [...]

DJ DaP and DJ Empez just couldn’t resist jumping on WZRD’s “Teleport 2 Me”. The track officially dropped yesterday, yet this remix was uploaded to SoundCloud five days ago, so it would make sense that it’s entirely made up of vocals from the snippet that leaked a couple of weeks ago. Regardless, it’s a remix [...]

“Teleport 2 Me” has just been released for consumption by the masses. A short snippet has been floating around, and Cudi’s performed the song live on one or more occasions, yet there’s nothing better than finally being able to listen to the final version in its entirety. With less than a month to go, Cudder’s [...]

Grouplove’s Never Trust a Happy Song has already received much remix love from the likes of Captain Cuts, Xaphoon Jones, and yes even Foster the People. All of whom took a crack at Grouplove’s “Colors”, arguably one of the best songs on the album. And a great album indeed, however if you’re not feeling the [...]

This one has been in the works for quite some time. Young Empires first emerged back in 2010 with a couple of demo tracks, “Rain of Gold” being one of them, and now after quite some time they’ve finally released their debut album Wake All My Youth. You only get to release your first album [...]

Well hello there, it has been a while since new material has graced the front page of this blog, yet here we are me and you, you and I. Indeed, with a bit of time on my hands and a brand new look, MIAM is back. To kick things off, we have a rather great [...]

Check it out, Cudi’s music video for ‘Mr. Rager’ is finally here. It’s very theatrical. The message in the video isn’t all too clear until the very end, and even then it’s still not known, however it’s worth the watch. They really did use a lot of the Surface to Air jacket’s in there.
