i had read thru his profile, quite interesting. His full name is Barthelemy Corbelet. At the age of 11 he learned how to play guitar, quietly meandered through school, ended up dropping out of college before obtaining his anthropology degree, only to find himself working at a Cash Converters shop. Barth has a sense of humor, and a panache for throwing things together. For example he like to dress up with whatever laying around; flippers, wigs, Bonnie Prince Billy’s mustache, moon boots, whatever. More than that, Barth has a severe panache for also crafting his music with whatever is laying about; an old drum-kit, old-fashioned keyboards, his guitar, an analogical 8-track tape recorder and a smirky grin. The result then was a debut EP, Essence of giraffe, that the Sunday Times called “Barking but brilliant”. Indeed. Andy Ross took noticed and signed Barth to Food Records (Blur, Jesus Jones, Idlewild…), and Barth's second album, Under the Trampoline, was released in France and England to critical acclaim. Too bad it doesn't look like it's going to be released in the States any time soon, the entire album is charming, endearing, and brimming with pop gems.

Eventhough it hasn't been released in the US..."Under the Trampoline" is available thru iTunes. So, there you go...I have really no excuses.
