Why Major Record Labels Must Die

Despite racking up an impressive three Top 10 albums and nine Top 40 singles and penning "Valerie," a massive UK hit for Amy Winehouse, English band the Zutons were dropped by their record label, Sony/BMG over the Christmas holiday. Why? Their last single failed to chart. Remember, when you buy major label music, that sort of nonsense is what you're supporting. Be sure to always check the RIAA Radar before you go music shopping.
