The King of Rock 'n Soul Solomon Burke is givin' the doctors and nursemaids here at the asylum some funk laced heartaches by the pound. Today we have a dose of perfect medicine that we have had under lock 'n stethoscope-two tracks that will definitely get all you buster browns out there out there in 115th Dreamland groovin'. If yer ears have yet to hear the lush gospel tinged sounds of King Solomon, then we have a treat for you.

Shout Solomon Shout: All Hail The King

Durin' his four years on Atlantic Records, the "Get Out of My Life Woman" 45 with two tracks offa I Wish I Knew (1968) is one of our favorite singles from that era. Side A, "Get Out of My Life Woman" (Dorsey) is an unrelentin' blast of cool groove and the flip side is a funked up treatment of the Ray Charles hit "What I'd Say". Give these two ditties a digital spin and let us know what yer rock 'n roll stethoscopes are thinkin'.

Should You DL? Of course, as your Doctor, I advise you to download your daily dosage of MP3s...
