There are a few major "no-no" rules when it comes to legendary musicians. 1. If you're on American Idol, NEVER do a Celine Dion or Whitney Houston song because you will not come close to their perfection. 2. Bands, PLEASE do not cover The Beatles. Just...no. 3. Do not remix Stevie Wonder. UNLESS you are Dirty Monkeez and holy shit, remix this as many times as you want.
Maybe it's the fact that I'm partially Hungarian, but there is something about these Budapest boys that makes me think they can do no wrong. With masterfully crafted mixes of Robyn, Justice and Major Lazer, along with their own originals, you'd be hard pressed to find be ever spit a bad sentence about this agile duo.
That said, I cringed a bit when I saw that they tackled Stevie...and that opposition lasted all of the 12 secoinds it took me between hitting download to pushing play. Honestly, I never should have doubted my Hunky kinsmen.
When the juke-ififed kicker of a fidgety beat hit at the minute mark, I nearly lost my mind. Pay close attention to it. 1:46 should make you quiver too.
