EAGLES OF DEATH METAL – WANNABE IN L.A.

Eagles of Death Metal return in 2009 with their third, and arguably best album 'Heart On', with preceding debut single 'Wannabe In L.A.' out a week before. Wannabe in L.A. is what you have come to expect from the Eagles, with its tight-jeaned 'chug-chug' guitar melodies and irony driven lyrics.
Jesse "Boots Electric" Hughes and Joshua "Babyduck" Homme, essentially a comedy pairing, certainly do not disappoint with Wannabe in L.A, continuing their original form of So-Cal cooler-than-thou blues rock.

Like any previous Eagles of Death Metal release, the cliché-filled Wannabe in L.A. simply cannot be taken seriously. The fact that Homme and Hughes manage to pull-off this sarcasm rock so successfully is quite brilliant. Eagles of Death Metal are back and their music is still just as hot as their leather trousers and impeccable mustaches.
